The other week, I was lucky enough to get contacted by Ruth from the Benefit team to Lola Hoad’s One Girl Band Space for a night of brows, bubbles and Benebabes in Brighton. As soon as I got there I was greeted with a glass of bubbly and smiles all over. Immediately, Tashie Tinks and I noticed the brow bar and I got my brows waxed and tinted by the lovely Lauren.
I have always wanted to get my brows done by Benefit because they are a brand well known for their brow range. Anyway, I’ve had awful experiences with my brows from over plucking, getting them over threaded etc. so, I’ve had to spend a lot of time growing them out. I put all my trust in to Lauren and I can say that I was so impressed with the difference it made.
I was fortunate enough to meet some lovely like-minded bloggers at the event whilst we waited for a very exciting visit from the Brow Mobile. The Brow Mobile is a pimped up, pink, 4×4 Land Rover with a: boutique, talented brow artists and Benefit goodies in the back.
Later on we had a very inspirational talk and Q&A with both Lola Hoad from One Girl Band and Tashie Tinks. Lola told us her entrepreneurial journey and really gave me a big motivational boost with all the dreams I wanted to pursue in life. I learnt that consistency is the key to many people’s success and realising that not everyone will love you. I know that I lack consistency in my blog and social media and hopefully becoming a lot more organised and consistent my growth will no longer be stagnated.
At the end we got a goody bag and here are some of the goods that I got from the lovely Benefit team including:
-Angled Brow Brush/Spoolie (Can you believe I’ve never owned a Spoolie before!)
-They’re Real Mascara
-License To Blot
