Welcome to the month of love! This month’s #LFBEAUTYBOX focuses on making you all feel extra glam for Valentines Day. Even if you haven’t got a special somebody to impress, we all deserve to treat ourselves after that dreadful excuse of a month (January, lol!). It is safe to say that I will be pampering myself up the whole of this month as I feel like I need a spring clean after all the exam stress that January put me through; Oh, and what lovely products I have to pamper myself with thanks to Lookfantastic.
Moving swiftly on before Cynical Cynthia moans about January any longer. The contents of the box is described below with my first impressions!
I have never heard of Trifle Cosmetics before; however, a lip scrub is always exciting, right? I absoloutley love the lip scrubs from Lush so it is great to try something new! This scrub has a delicate scrub to it without feeling too gritty. Also, it smells aahhmazing but I wouldnt recommended eating it because it tastes like soap! (yes, I licked the lip scrub guys!) It is recommended that you use this scrub once a week to make sure you have soft and kissable lips for Valentines Day! What’s more is that it is 100% Cruelty Free (big thumbs up from me!).
Elemis is a very well-known brand that I am sure many of you have already come across or have heard of. This cream is known as a bestseller worldwide; therefore, my faith lies within the public to trust that this will work some magic into my face within the next 14 days. The cream is a very light-weight texture and injects a bit of radiance to my face immediately after applying. I must say I usually prefer a thicker texture when it comes to moisturisers but so far so good is all I can say for this one!
I’ve heard great stuff about this stuff and this stuff is great! (do you think I said stuff too much?) I love that this balm is multi-purpose and the little tube is so practical meaning I can take it with me everywhere I go. Also, the balm doesn’t have a scent to it which is actually great because i’m not tempted to lick my lips, hahaha!
Caudalie Thirst Quenching Serum
I’m very new to this whole serum thing so my opinions on this particular product would not be desired by any of you skin experts out there! But, what I can say is that this product is so very easily absorbed by the skin and helps to rehydrate those with dry and sensitive skin like myself.
Now, I haven’t actually tested this mask out yet but you can use this product to add radiance to your complex. Leave this for either 15-30minutes or leave it on all night if you really want to show your skin some lovin’.
Bellapierre Cosmetics Face Shimmer Roll
Last but not least, my favourite product of this month’s box. It is a face shimmer roll in Champagne from Bellapierre Cosmetics. This product seems to be an exclusive to this month’s box as I cannot find this shimmer roll being retailed anywhere else online. It makes for a very nice sheen as soon as watched but this doesn’t last very long (if i’m being honest). On the other hand, I love using this product to highlight my collar bones and shoulders instead when on nights out as it adds that oomph of radiance that i’m missing in the Winter months!
So, would you like to know what will be in next month’s beauty box? Stop reading if you don’t! But, to spill the beans a bit, next month’s box includes an Omorovicza Balancing Moisturiser! Eeeeek, I ADORE their cleansing foam so I am excited to try this out!
You can grab your #LFBEAUTYBOX for as cheap as £13 here!
Are you guys a fan of the new simplisticly sleek design of the beauty box? Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts and opinions – I personally love it!
