L'Occitane Herbae Spring Fragrance Cynthia Royer Blog Review

So, what are the notes of the perfume?

For those readers who are not aware of notes within the perfume, there are a total of three ingredients that are combined in order to make a perfume. These include top notes, heart notes and base notes. Top notes are the initial notes you smell when you try on a fragrance, they are fresh and often fruity. Once the top notes fade, you begin to smell the heart notes which are usually florally. They last longer than the heart notes but less than the base notes. The base notes are the ones you remember the most as they last the longest out of all three of the notes.

HERBAE fragrance notes:

Top notes: Bergamot, Pink Pepper and Ambrette.

Middle notes: Blackberry, Rose Hip and Sage.

Base notes: Grass, Honey and Musk.

This is a very unique blend of notes that have been used to create a light and airy scent with a hint of musk and a burst of citrus.

L'Occitane Herbae Spring Fragrance Cynthia Royer Blog Review

To be honest, I didn’t think that HERBAE would smell the way it did. The scent of this fragrance was quite a surprise to me, but the uniqueness of it is what I liked the most!

It doesn’t smell like any other fragrance that I have tested before. If you are looking to be experimental with your fragrance this Spring then HERBAE is a great one to try because its scent is completely different to all of the other L’Occitane fragrances.

This fragrance is available to purchase in 10ml, 50ml and 90ml bottles. There are also matching bath & body products.
