The new DSquared2 Wood Eau De Toilette fragrance for women launched in late 2018. This fragrance is ultra-feminine and vibrant. The blend of raspberry leaf and magnolia notes is what gives this fragrance it’s fresh and fruity smell – it is perfect for the Springtime!
The fragrance comes in a clear glass bottle and is topped with a unique wooden and magnetic cap. I am obsessed with the sleek design, it will look great on anyone’s vanity.
So, what are the notes of the perfume?
For those readers who are not aware of notes within the perfume, there are a total of three ingredients that are combined in order to make a perfume. These include top notes, heart notes and base notes. Top notes are the initial notes you smell when you try on a fragrance, they are fresh and often fruity. Once the top notes fade, you begin to smell the heart notes which are usually florally. They last longer than the heart notes but less than the base notes. The base notes are the ones you remember the most as they last the longest out of all three of the notes.
DSquared2 Wood fragrance notes:
Top notes: Mandarin Orange, Raspberry Leaf, Magnolia and Lily of the Valley.
Middle notes: Osmanthus and Jasmine.
Base notes: White woods, Cedar and Ambroxan.
If you’re looking for a fragrance to give you that confidence boost – I ‘wood’ (pardon the pun) highly recommend this one!
